LASIK Cost

If you’re considering LASIK or ASA eye surgery, one of your first questions is likely to be about cost. At Longwood Eye & LASIK, we believe in transparent, straightforward pricing that makes this life-changing procedure accessible to more people.

Our LASIK Price

At Longwood Eye & LASIK, our LASIK or ASA eye surgery cost is only $1,500 per eye. We are also excited to offer the most advanced ray-tracing-guided LASIK technology, Wavelight PLUS for an additional $500 per eye for patients who are candidates. Our doctors will discuss which option is best for your eyes during your consultation.

Unlike many LASIK centers that use complicated pricing tiers, we keep it simple. There are no hidden fees, no surprise charges, and no fine print. Your LASIK or ASA cost will not increase based on the strength of your eyeglasses prescription or your level of astigmatism. Whether you have mild nearsightedness or a stronger prescription with astigmatism, every LASIK patient receives the same amazing price of $1,500 per eye, plus an additional $500 per eye for Wavelight PLUS if you are a candidate.

This all-inclusive price covers your pre-operative evaluation, the LASIK or ASA procedure itself using advanced laser technology, and all necessary follow-up appointments to ensure your eyes are healing properly and your vision is optimal.

What’s Included in Our LASIK Price?

When you choose Longwood Eye & LASIK or ASA, your $1,500 per eye investment includes everything you need for a successful LASIK experience.  If you are a candidate for Wavelight PLUS, there is an additional $500 per eye cost for this advanced technology.

This comprehensive package covers your initial consultation and detailed eye examination, the complete LASIK procedure performed by our experienced surgeons, and all post-operative care visits.

We want you to feel confident that there won’t be any unexpected costs along the way.

Flexible Financing Options

We understand that even with our competitive pricing, LASIK is an important financial decision.

That’s why we offer financing through CareCredit, a healthcare credit card designed specifically for medical and wellness procedures. CareCredit allows you to break down the cost of your LASIK surgery into manageable monthly payments that fit comfortably within your budget.

Many patients find that their monthly payment is less than what they currently spend on contacts, solutions, and glasses replacements over time.

Applying for CareCredit is quick and easy, and our staff is here to help you explore your financing options during your consultation.

Does Insurance Cover LASIK?

Most health insurance and vision insurance plans classify LASIK as an elective or cosmetic procedure, which means it typically isn’t covered under standard policies. While this may seem disappointing at first, it’s important to understand that insurance companies consider LASIK elective because glasses and contact lenses are available as alternative vision correction methods.

However, some insurance plans do offer discounts on LASIK through partnerships with specific vision centers or laser eye surgery networks. It’s worth checking with your insurance provider to see if they offer any LASIK discounts or preferred provider arrangements.

There are other valuable ways to save on your LASIK procedure, including tax-advantaged health spending accounts like FSAs and HSAs.
