Inspired from a young age
“I became interested in Ophthalmology at a young age as the son of a sight impaired father. My father, experienced a rare eye illness called Retinitis Pigmentosa and brought me along to his Ophthalmologist where I observed eye examinations from a young age. I was impressed with the technological tools used not only to diagnose eye disease but the overall health of a patient.
Today, Ophthalmologists can do so much more for our patients than we could in my father’s time. There has been a revolution in technology with earlier diagnosis and treatment for a variety of eye conditions that has benefited our patients. I am grateful to bring my experience and knowledge to the care of Longwood Eye & LASIK Center patients particularly in my area of specialty, glaucoma.”

I have laser surgery on my left eye and it seems to have helped ease my Glaucoma pressure in my left eye. Was mostly painless, as I only felt three burns out of many.July 01, 2024
My eye doctor sent me to the West Springfield office for a referral appointment. The staff was very nice and patient. Dr. Lotufo seemed pleasant enough. The staff (people behind the counter) are always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Warren, Dr. Lotufo, and Dr. Ying have been so very helpful in teaching me how to manage my glaucoma medication and reassuring me about the healthy status of my macula. I always feel comfortable and well cared for, and my questions get complete and helpful answers. Since Dr. Warren did my cataract surgery I have the best, clearest vision I have ever had in my whole life and I am so grateful to receive all this wonderful care (and effective prescriptions) through my health insurance without having to manage all the paperwork myself.
